The Mexico 27

Stage Door Theatre Trust’s The Mexico 27 celebrated local history through a moving, community-driven production honouring the lifeboatmen lost in the 1886 Mexico disaster. After touring libraries, schools, and community spaces, the play reached wider audiences with a special performance at The Atkinson, uniting generations in remembrance.
Hands, Face, Headspace

Hands, Face and Headspace was a creative workshop programme delivered in local schools, supporting young people as they explored how lockdown had affected their mental health. The project culminated in a series of powerful performances, giving students a safe space to express their experiences and reconnect through storytelling and drama.
Baggage!

Developed in 2016 with young people across Sefton, Baggage combined film and live theatre to shine a light on teenage mental health. The project empowered young participants to share their experiences, challenge stigma, and support one another through a creative, supportive process.
Only Remembered For
What We Have Done

Only Remembered for What We Have Done was a 2014 theatre production performed by young people at St George’s Hall to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. Through drama, music, and powerful ensemble storytelling, the production honoured the sacrifices of a generation and connected local youth with a vital moment in history.
